The Cross Apogee Black Star Lacquer fountain pen is a combination the two most popular fine pen finishes, black and chrome. The cap and barrel is finished in a deep black lacquer and all the trim is heavy chrome plated. The extra long clip is spring loaded and rests on an extra wide cap band that bisects the pen when capped.

The highlight of the pen is the beautifully engraved and smooth writing 18 karat gold rhodium plated nib.
