This elegant pattern is created on a Murelli engraving machine dating from 1928.The machine was reactivated from the museum of the distinguished Murelli company in France. The exquiste guilloche engravings were developed exclusively for the CP4 series.The Sheaffer Legacy pen combines the big, gold styling of the PFM with precision engineering and convenience demanded by today's most discerning fountain pen lover. Introduced in 1995, Legacy fountain pens are distinguished by their wide-bodied barrel which tapers elegantly to a chiseled end.In 1997, Classic Pens and Sheaffer worked together to create the CP4 series. The exquisite pens are based on the Sheaffer Legacy and two versions were produced, the CP4 Richmond and the CP4 Washington. The CP4 series comprises 1,865 Richmond and 1,865 Washington pens world-wide. The relatively low edition numbers make the CP4 series truly exclusive.
