Crafted entirely from solid 925 sterling silver, the Ambassador is a heavier design to The Standard model giving a weighty feel to the classic writing instrument. Without elaborate embellishment or design, The Ambassador’s beauty comes from its simplicity. At just over 43 grammes it is largest of the pencil models within YARD-O-LED’s range and its diameter of 10mm presents an impactful writing instrument.

Holding a yard of HB pencil lead the pencil is subtly embellished with engine turned pattern of a unique design named Honeycomb.

Finished with the historic YARD-O-LED silver clip punched by hand in the workshop bearing its unique number.

Every pen within the range is sterling silver and hallmarked by the Birmingham Assay Office.

A note about the decoration on the instrument:

Yard O Led has perfected traditional engraving methods, including engine-turning and hand-hammering, that have long been lost to many parts of the metalworking industry.

In the Birmingham workshop, a small number of dedicated craftsmen assemble and decorate every one of Yard O Led's exquisite writing instruments by hand. Some of these masters have been with the company for over fifty years, and each brings their own distinctive style, making no pen or pencil exactly like any other.

All instruments are manufactured from premium 925 Sterling silver. Each prestigious item is engraved with a unique number and stamped with a hallmark from the British Assay Office, guaranteeing the purity of the silver and authenticating each instrument as a genuine artifact of British heritage.

About the warranty:

Yard O Led writing instruments that have a serial number stamped on the pen clip are covered by a limited lifetime guarantee.  The particulars can be read on the Yard-O-Led website.
