The ‘Pinstripe 72’ - numbering the lines around the barrel. Just as its name-sake suit crossed the gender divide, the Pinstripe is equally popular with male and female audiences.

The Pinstripe 72 is a rollerball pen in the Grand size. Reminiscent of the banker’s suit, the engine-turned lines differentiate these writing instruments from the more ornate hand-chased and turned styles already familiar to the Yard-O-Led collector.

Yard-O-Led’s workshop employs the oldest engine turners manufacturing today – dating back to 1857. Every Pinstripe 72 is engine turned on these machines in our Birmingham workshop by our family of skilled silversmiths. As with all Yard-O-Led’s, every pen in unique to become the talisman of its ultimate owner.

The regimented lines offer a slight grip to the writing instrument when held and serve to catch the light beautifully as the pen turns lending the user to rediscover the joy of the written word.
